A survey conducted by Poll Kenya has placed Kirinyaga governor Anne Wiguru among the best performing governors in the country.
The survey targetted the first 100 days in office.
Waiguru was rated the second-best performing county boss, coming just one slot behind Makueni boss Kivutha Kibwana.
She garnered 54 per cent against Kibwana's 64 per cent.
Waiguru has previously served as the Devolution and Planning CS before she left office in the heat of the infamous NYS scandal.
This will be good news to hercoming just days after she was elected elected vice-chair of the Council of Governors, becoming the first female politician to occupy that position.
