Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary and Kirinyaga governorship aspirant Anne Waiguru on Wednesday presented her nomination papers to Jubilee secretariat.
Jubilee Programmes Department has acknowledged receipt of Waiguru’s papers.
The papers include her identification card, certificate of good conduct, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) self-declaration form, certified copies of academic documents, payment receipts and two passport size photos.
“This is to confirm that we are in receipt of your nominations papers. We shall communicate to you the date for the nomination,” read a statement from the department.
Ms Waiguru has now been cleared to continue with her campaigns as she prepares to face off with the incumbent Joseph Ndathi and other aspirants in the nominations.
