Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru has broken her silence over the NYS saga promising to name those who were behind the looting spree at the department once investigations into an affidavit implicating her on the same are complete.
Waiguru told Daily Nation that she was a victim of machinations by a cartel who were not happy with her sterling perfomance at the helm of the devolution docket and who finally succeeded in forcing her out.
"The investigation on Kabura affidavit are ongoing and once completed, I will reveal those who were behind the machinations. Those people who were unhappy with my delivery and what the government was achieving forced me out," she said in relation to an affidavit filed by Josephine Kabura her alleged hairdresser.
The Kirinyaga gubernatorial hopeful further denied any links to Kabura and instead accused her of being used by the cartel to tarnish her name.
Waiguru resigned from the Devolution ministry in November 2015 citing ill health.
