Former Devolution and Planning Cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru has warned residents of Kirinyaga aginst supporting leaders affiliated to other political parties apart from Jubilee.
According to the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat aspirant, the region is a Jubilee zone hence need to promote the party's agenda.
"Kirinyaga people should not settle for leaders who are affiliated to other parties. We are a Jubilee zone and should pick leaders who will propel the Jubileeagenda both at the national and county level," said Waiguru.
The former CS resigned citing health issues was speaking during voter mobilization exercise in Kirinyaga.
Waiguru at the same time picked Peter Ndambiri as her running mate.
She will battle out with Narc Kenya's Martha Karua and the incumbent Peter Ndathi for the Jubilee ticket.
Waiguru resigned after her ministry was accused of overseeing mismanagement of funds at the National Youth Service
