Thika Town MP Patrick Wainaina has assured investors intending to invest in Thika that their security is guaranteed.
The lawmaker stated that more investor will help in developing the industrial town.
“Investors should not shy off from investing in the constituency because security is beefed up day and night to ensure their lives and properties are protected,” said Wainana.
He said more investors will see several local youths who have completed school but now jobless to get jobs.
“Big businesses which will start in the area will create job opportunities to young people who are graduates but jobless. On behalf of the constituents, I wish to assure local and foreign traders that the business environment is conducive and tight security,” said the lawmaker.
He challenged current investors and traders to welcome new traders to start businesses in the constituency.
Wainaina urged tax collectors to stop exploiting traders when collecting revenue.
"Traders should pay tax which is recommended by Kiambu County government and no one should charge above the require fee," he stated.
