Speaking in Kibichiku on Monday, Waititu said that Kabogo had no right at all to dictate to Kabete residents on who to vote for.

"You are the same people who voted for Kabogo. I want to tell him that he has no right to tell you who you should have nominated. The votes of Kabete people are not his. You have the right to vote for the person you want to represent you in Parliament,” said Kabogo.

Waititu was early this month nominated as JAP representative in the coming Kabete by election.

Last Friday, Kabogo was quoted by a section of media houses allegedly saying that Kabete residents are an ‘embarrassment’ for nominating Waititu.

Kabogo went ahead and termed Waititu as an ‘outsider’ who did not deserve, Kabete's JAP nomination.

Waititu said that Kabogo should explain to Kiambu County residents on where about their development funds since there is no any tangible development projects his administration can show.

"Once I am elected as your MP, I will let the governor explain to us on where he has taken our development fund. I am not afraid of him at all,” said Waititu.

Waititu went a head and said that he will vie for Kiambu gubernatorial seat come 2017.
