Addressing residents at Witeithe market on Sunday, the Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) aspirant said that security is needed across the country.

He asked the government to deal firmly with terror agents and not to give them room to scare Kenyans.

“Internal Security CS must assure Kenyans that their security is guaranteed and further deal with perpetrators of terror,” he said.

The Kabete aspirant said that security is much need in the Northern Part of Kenya stating that many Kenyans in the area are scared.

He stated that the constitution guarantees Kenyans of their safety adding that the government must provide the same.

Waititu urged Kabete residents to elect him in the forthcoming by-election assuring them that he will put in place security strategies to protect them.

“Security must be assured and provide to every citizen, it is your constitutional right,” he told the crowds.

Waititu at the same time asked leaders across the political divide to join hands towards elimination of terror.

He said that division among political leaders and policy makers will only give terrorists and criminals the confidence and pleasure of executing more attacks.
