Waititu said that he will remain firm and challenge Kabogo in next year’s general election.

Speaking to residents at Kabete Town on Wednesday, Waititu vowed to oust Governor William Kabogo in the 2017 general elections.

The Kabete MP said that he is not afraid of the tactics being used by Kabogo adding that he will trounce him come 2017.

Waititu accused Kabogo of allegedly using propaganda and smear politics to make him look bad.

“Kabogo is using every evil tactic to make me look bad and tarnish my image but I want to tell him that I will send him home in the 2017 elections,” he said.

Waititu said that Kiambu residents were tired of Kabogo’s style of leadership.

The Kabete MP described the Kiambu governor as an arrogant dictator adding that time has come for the residents to show him the door.

Waititu and Kabogo have recently been in the limelight with the two exchanging bitter words over the county's 2017 gubernatorial race.

Two weeks ago, Kabogo raised concerns over Waititu's academic qualifications saying that the MP does not qualify to be a governor or a leader.
