Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu is hitting back after Kiambu Governor William Kabogo launched an offensive last month discrediting his academic papers.
Kabogo portrayed Waititu as a 'semi-literate' person who never attended university.
In pay back style, the controversial MP seems to have found a loophole in Kabogo's academic papers.
According to an affidavit filed by Waititu at the High Court on Tuesday, Waititu claims that Kabogo did not attend Punjab University graduating with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
Waititu says that there is a contradiction in Kabogo's degree certificate. The MP says in other documents, Kabogo claims to have graduated with a Bachelors in Commerce from Punjab University.
Though Kabogo is yet to respond to these allegations, it seems he will have to spend the coming days explaining, perhaps, where this variation in his papers came from.
The two have been in a tug-of-war as they seek to be Kiambu governor in next year’s election.
