Kabete Parliamentary seat aspirant who is also former Embakasi MP, Ferdinard Waititu, on Wednesday caused a scuffle outside Bishop Kariuki Church, Wangige where Kabete seat contestants had convened to prove their worthiness.
Waititu who did not attend the forum arrived after the meeting was over and engaged in a bitter exchange of words with senator Wamatangi.
Waititu accused the Senator of trying to manipulate residents not to vote for him as well as trying to sideline him in the contestant by claiming that he (Waititu) is not a native.
"I am not a boy. Mentioning my name haphazardly is totally unacceptable,” said bitter Waititu.
"Kabete is owned by all of us, inciting people not to elect me is wrong. I am not a stranger in this Constituency,” added Waititu.
Meanwhile some other 15 contestants arrived at the church and answered questions that were being fielded by voters who attended the forum.
The forum was organised by Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi.
