Speaking at a local TV show on Sunday, Waititu said that he has the Kabete constituency development fund (CDF) which he intends to use to the last coin to upgrade the lives of Kabete people.

“I will be able to achieve what I promised my constituents. I do not require anything from Kabogo because I have my CDF and my officers to work with. I will be able to move with my agenda without him,” said Waititu.

He added: “He will not be a hindrance to me. Kabete people elected me against his wish.”

He however said that he has no problem working with Kabogo as long as it benefits the people.

"I have no personal problems with him,” he said.

He decried lack of projects by the county government in Kabete despite the county getting what he said was generous allocations from the national government.
