Kiambu residents have come out strongly to condemn Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu's administration over delapidating medicare.
Patients at Thika Level Five Hospital, the biggest in Kiambu County, are now sharing beds which has raised more questions than answers on Waititu's commitment to the provision of quality medicare.
The hospital management claims that most beds are in bad state forcing patients to share beds.
Through Thika Republic Facebook page, users expressed their agony and distress in what they called 'a small issue that the country government has failed to resolve'.
"The governor is busy closing beer shops while our patients are sharing beds in hospital," Kinyua James posted.
"Babayao, you have let us down for the second time. Kabogo built a good level 5 hospital and left you to only submit beds...please do the necessary," a user by the name MCA Jaguar said.
Kiambu ex-governor William Kabogo built a four storey building Ward in Thika level Five to admit patients all over Kiambu but up to date the building is still to open up to patients.
Thika level 5 is a referal hospital and critically ill patients are treated there before being referred to Kenyatta National Hospital in case they require more specialized treatment.
