Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu has slammed the leader of opposition Raila Odinga over dishonesty adding that Raila was a double speaker.
Speaking to Inooro TV, the legislator criticised the Cord leadership marshalled by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and called them masters of public lies and dishonesty.
"Raila Odinga is a very dishonest character because you can agree on one thing but when speaking to the media he says a completely different thing," said Waititu.
Waititu further said he absconded the Odinga's lunch meeting because he saw it as a political trap.
"Unlike Moses Kuria and Kimani Ngunjiri, I can easily foretell Raila's next action and avoid easily falling prey to his populist politics," he said.
However, he lauded the move to organise a sincere lunch date and maintained on the need for Raila to bridle on his followers to always maintain calm and order during their meetings and rallies.
Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Tuesday attended a lunch date with Cord leaders Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka after his (Kuria's) release from the Pangani police station.
Of the six Pangani detainees, only Waititu defied the invite.
