In Kiambu County, incumbent Governor William Kabogo has lost ground on his main challenger Ferdinand Waititu.

With slightly above half the votes cast having been counted by 4:30 am, Waititu, commonly known as Babayao is leading Kabogo with 431,615 against Kabogo’s 115,050.

Here is a breakdown on how the duo have been fairing on since the votes started trickling in.

3:19 am: Waititu- 431615 votes (78.31%), Kabogo- 115050 votes (20.87%)

2:35 am: Waititu- 377856 votes (78.3%), Kabogo- 100840 votes (20.9%)

1:55 am: Waititu- 301523 votes (78.42%), Kabogo- 79916 votes (20.78%)

1:20 am: Waititu- 174413 votes (78.37%), Kabogo- 46359 votes (20.83%)

12:50 am: Waititu- 133119 votes (78.48%), Kabogo- 35181 votes (20.74%)

12:05 am: Waititu- 69010 votes (78.83%), Kabogo- 17863 votes (20.4%)

9:00 pm: Waititu- 497 votes (76.34%), Kabogo- 153 votes (23.5%)

8:00 pm: Jubilee's Ferdinand Waititu leads with 233 votes (71.47%) against incumbent William Kabogo (independent) who has 93 votes (28.53%).
