Waititu congratulated them and thanked them to vote for him during the Election Day, and he went ahead to say the nomination showed that he will be voted for by the 99% of the constituents.

“I take this opportunity to thank you for having voted for me during the nomination elections, and I want to tell you that you are the very people I really need come the year 2017. I really need you so that so that I can clinch the parliament seat as I wait for the general elections of the year 2017,” said Waititu.

Waititu further pledged to improve the welfare of the traders once he becomes the governor of Kiambu.

“I want to give you a task of going ahead and encouraging your neighbours and friends to support me so that together we can make Kabete Constituency a better place and also Kiambu County,” he said.

“The change that we need in this county is in your hands, and come the year 2017, you will have all the powers to make the wise decision of who you want to be your governor,” added Waititu.

He urged the people of Limuru to turn in large number comes May 4, so that they can vote for him.

“Let us show the rest of the country who you are and who you want to be your MP. Kindly turn up in large number so that you can make your choice and be sure that you make the best choice that you will not regret,” he added.

The Kabete seat became vacant after the late George Muchai was killed by armed robbers on February 7.
