Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu on Sunday toured Ngoliba Health Center to find out how can his government can improve it’s service efficiency to the public.
Speaking after the visit, Waititu said he had noted that the facility has been facing numerous challenges ranging from infrastructural to staffing.
“As a government we will ensure that necessary works are done to ensure that the hospital attains level 4 status. Of which also includes, thorough structural renovations and immediate installation of a powerbackup generator and water tanks,” said the governor.
Waititu also noted that his government intends to roll out several projects at the said facility. The projects include; buying an ambulance, ensuring more KMTC trainees are sent to work at the facility and construction of a laboratory and a pharmacy at Maguguni Health Facility.
