Addressing residents at Ndarura estate in Waginge on Thursday, Waititu said security will be one of his main agendas.

“I will work with the national government and other security agencies to intensify security in Kabete,” said Waititu.

Waititu noted that criminals have been taking advantage of the darkness to carry out their acts.

“Kabete people elected me to work and serve them diligently; I will start by enhacing their security so that they can feel free to invest,” said Waititu.

He added that security is the first step towards development.

At the same time, the Kabete lawmaker promised to establish a modern market for traders at Wangige.

He said that constructing a modern market was among his campaign agenda.

“I have received calls from Wangige traders reminding me of a modern market for their businesses, I want to assure them that they will have a market by September this year,” said Waititu.
