Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has come out to warn Deputy President William Ruto against Nasa leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a church service at PCEA Evergreen Church Runda, Nairobi County, Waititu stated, "Everybody is excited and talking about the President Uhuru and Raila Odinga handshake. That is a good thing for the country's healing. However, I must warn you Mr. Deputy President to be very careful with Raila.
"That agreement with President Uhuru is good but I do not trust the former Prime Minister. Watch him carefully because he cannot be fully trusted."
This was the first time that Governor Fedinand Waititu has come out to air his opinion about how he considers the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and clearly he has so many doubts concerning his sincerity.
Speaking during the same church service, Deputy President William Ruto said, "the meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was not for personal gains but for the sake of national healing.
These two leaders came together to bury their political differences so as Kenya can heal and Kenyans can move on with their lives from a long and tiresome electioneering period. Let us not start to read ulterior motives in the unity pact but empress it and shun divisive politics."
