Kiambu Governor William Kabogo says that Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu has no idea on to improve Kiambu's economy if he is elected governor.Speaking at Nyambari trading centre in Lari constituency on Saturday, Kabogo said that he has good plans for the residents, adding that he deserves another term office. Kabogo, who is campaigning as an independent candidate, added that he has initiated several projects in the region since he took over power after the last general elections. The governor also took his door to door campaigns to different areas including Ndeiya, Kwambira, Kimende and Kijabe.“You need to compare what we have done and has impacted our society and our ongoing projects, and you will realise our vision and that we need another chance,” he said. The outspoken governor also said that he created many jobs than any other leader during his tenure as a governor citing the farming sector, health and infrastructural improvements among others that have made life better. The further county boss exuded confidence that he will beat Waititu hands down when that time comes.“We have boosted our dairy farmers with pasteurizers, opened dispensaries and ensured there is medicine and nurses all the time, improved our roads to ease transport, especially when farmers are taking their farm produce to the market, and much more,” he said. The incumbent governor is banking on his development record for another term.
