Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke now says voters in Western Kenya are prepared and ready to participate in Thursday's repeat Presidential election.
The Jubilee allied MP further said the region will overwhelmingly vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Addressing the press at an Eldoret hotel on Tuesday, Waluke dismissed the opposition who have asked their supporters across the country not to participate in the repeat poll.
"It's our democratic right to vote and nobody will bar us. On Thursday everybody will vote for their preferred candidate," said the MP.
"You can't be forced to vote or not to, it's one's right to choose whether he/she will vote or not," he added.
The MP who weathered the NASA wave in Western Kenya to retain his seat said they want to ensure President Kenyatta gets more votes in the region.
"We are targeting not less than 300,000 votes in Bungoma County alone," he said.
In the August 8 elections whose results were annulled, President Kenyatta garnered about 240,000 votes from the four Western Kenya counties of Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma and Vihiga, over half of which were from Bungoma where he had 126, 425 votes.
