[Photo| Courtesy]Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, has slammed Opposition leader Raila Odinga, after he withdrew his candidature, from the October 26th fresh presidential election.He accused Odinga of planning to ensure violence erupts across the country, especially after he left for Britain, few days after declaring he will not participate in the election. Speaking in Trans Nzoia, Wamalwa, Friday said elections will go on as planned regardless of whether Raila participates or not, since the government has already set aside Sh12 billion for the election. President Uhuru Kenyatta assented to the bill Friday, and set aside the funds for the fresh polls.Wamalwa further defended the controversial electoral laws, which parliament passed, saying they were aimed to ensure a credible electoral system.
