Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has hit out at Bungoma Senator and Nasa co-principal, Moses Wetangula, for having no political stand.

Wamalwa said Wetangula had lost the political grip after he failed to go for the country’s top seat.

The CS criticised the Ford Kenya party leader for supporting ODM chief, Raila Odinga, to be the National Super Alliance flag bearer despite of the Luhya community hoping he would shelve his presidential ambitions and support ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi to fly the coalition’s presidential ticket.

“The community prevailed upon me in 2013 to abandon my presidential ambitions so that I could allow the two, who are my seniors, to vie for the seat. But they have abandoned the quest for somebody else,” Wamalwa is quoted by the Star.

The CS cautioned the ‘Mulembe’ nation against trusting Mudavadi and Wetangula adding that Bungoma residents should reject Wetangula’s re-election bid noting that he had done nothing for them.

“You should be careful because it seems our two senior brothers might be out to auction you to support Raila for their own personal gains,” said wamalwa.
