Cabinet Secretary for Water and Irrigation Eugene Wamalwa and the Cabinet Secretary for Internal Security and Coordination of National Government Joseph Nkaiserry have been overstepping their mandate and forgetting their work as Cabinet Secretaries.
The two who once represented their people in elective posts have now engaged in full time politics and have expressed their wish to join the Jubilee coalition in a bid to reclaim their political glory they once had.
However, they should understand that they are now serving as government representatives in various issues and should not engage in full-time politics. They have even engaged other political leaders in oral fights and brawls.
They must know that Kenyans expect them to take a backseat in political matters and wait for the disbandment of the government before they engage in politics again.
Eugene and Nkaiserry should work towards unifying the country rather than making political comments that may lead to incitement. They must stay focused in their work and let politicians play their game.
