Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has urged county leaders to put aside their personal differences and work for the people that elected them to office.
Speaking at Thika town Hall on Monday, Wamatangi said that their personal differences continue to deny locals quality service delivery.
The senator said that though they might have diverse opinions, their unity as leaders should not be jeopardised.
“I know we all have differences. That is a fact but we should not allow our differences to hamper service delivery,” he said.
The senator appealed to county leaders led by Governor William Kabogo to soften their stands and embrace dialogue.
He observed that the county will lag behind in development if leaders continue to wrangle.
The senator noted that while the county is busy wrangling, other counties are developing and working for their people.
