Kiambu County senator Kimani Wamatangi has called on Kiambu leaders to end leadership wrangles and focus on development of the county since Kiambu County is bigger than individuals.

Wamatangi said that leadership wrangles only stigmatizes development of the county and thus Kiambu residents should rethink before politicking on every development in the county.

He said that he is neither supporting the  county governor Kabogo William nor the leaders who are against Kabogo but instead supports the interest of the county which peace will only the weapon to allow development.

Wamatangi who was speaking AIC church Bibirioni in Kiambu on Sunday expressed his concerns with Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) leaders in Kiambu who focus on political wrangle saying it destabilizes the county in terms of economy that will affect not only Kiambu County but the entire nation.

The senator has urged the leaders to engage in the in-house dialogue rather than confusing the public who is better than the other in terms of development.

He said that Kenyans are tired with political affiliations in the country and Kiambu should lead by example instead of hitting the headlines of the media exposing intellectual differences.

He said that if the people have the right to choose whoever they want and they should not dwell on malicious leaders in the county.

“If Kabogo is not suit to lead the county then he should be fired on basis of facts and if he is capable and has led the county into positive way then let us reconsiders rather than politicizing every events in the county,” said Wamatangi.

He however believes leaders are chosen by God, and if the right times come for ushering new leadership then Kiambu should vote wisely.
