Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has now said that senates Public Account Committee will invite individuals mentioned by Machakos governor to have grabbed land in Mavoko.
The senator who was speaking during Citizen TV's Power Breakfast show said that PAC would look into the evidence presented by the Machakos governor to see if it could implicate the mentioned individual.
This comes after Mutua linked Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Senator and MP to the grabbing of a 400-acre piece of land in Mavoko sub-county, and another 200-acre piece of land, that was owned by the National Youth Service (NYS) in Yatta.
"I can assure you that all those mentioned after we have sat down as a committee and looked at the evidence will be invited to the committee to give their version of the same," said Wamatangi.
"If any of them will be found culpable then they will face the law," he added.
Wamatangi noted that the Machakos governor also had to answer to the audit queries on the alleged mismanaged county funds.
"The governor of Machakos must answer to the audit queries pertaining to how money was put into use in his own county. He must be able to satisfy the committee," he said.
