Youths have been urged to venture into businesses and to avoid being incited into unsavory behavior by malicious leaders.
According to Kiambu county senator Kimani Wamatangi these ‘malicious leaders’ were only killing development of the county.
Wamatangi termed the leaders as killer of development and spiteful saying such leaders should not be nominated back in the office during the next general election.
He said that Kenya needs to grow in matters of development and not brothers to fight against brothers, especially when both are coming from the same political party.
The senator spoke in Kiambu town yesterday on a tour of the region. He expressed his concerns with leaders who politicized every development project set by the county government.
Wamatangi has cautioned youths not to be misled by such people in the society and to venture into businesses in a bid to tame the insecurity, drugs and substance abuse.
“Keep yourself busy and don’t listen to malicious leaders who wants to brainwash you and not help develop,” said Wamatangi
He extended his gratitude to Kiambu residents for helping the police to the home brewing of illicit alcohol. He said that the mortality rate has drastically improved because of the community’s efforts.
Wamatangi urged youths to work hand in hand with police and chiefs in the villages to eradicate the illegal businesses. He urged them with to bring the county closer to Vision 2030.
Wamatangi however revealed that plans are underway in sensitizing Kiambu leaders on management and mobilizing resources so as leaders could be influential in our community.
