Juja MP, Francis Waititu, has rubbished and dismissed the allegations of firing one of his employees for allegedly turning down his sexual advances.
The MP has described the scenario as ‘malicious witch hunt’ fomented by his political enemies to tarnish his reputation.
This comes after one of his employees, Susan Wambui, accused him of demanding sexual favor in order to retain her job as a receptionist in his office.
Addressing journalists in his office at Juja town on Wednesday, Waititu challenged Wambui to table documents indicating she was employed in his office.
Waititu however declined to give further details on the saga saying he is compiling a comprehensive response which he will release later to the media.
“I happen to know the woman since her home is just few meters from my home but she is not my employee,” said Waititu.
He said that the propaganda is meant to defame him, hence killing his political ambition.
The law maker declined sending Wambui any message.
For now Wambui has recorded a statement with Ruiru police station accusing the legislator of firing her through text message.
Her contract was to expire after five years.
“I would rather be jobless than leave my husband to become a mistress,” reads part of the message.
Wambui said she had written to the International Federation of Women Lawyers-Kenya (FIDA) to help her resolve the matter.
