Ugunja lawmaker Opiyo Wandayi has called on Jubilee leaders to stop dictating opposition's choice of nominees to the East African Legislative Assembly.
This after Jubilee questioned the nomination of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's son Kennedy to EALA.
The leaders were led by Majority Leader Aden.
"Protestations of Duale and some elements in the National Assembly must be ignored," Wandayi said in a statement on Friday.
"It's inconceivable that Jubilee would dictate who ODM should nominate."
Wandayi defended the nomination of ODM's National Elections Board chair Judy Pareno stating that she came from a marginalized community.
"It must be noted that Paterno's own credentials more than surpass the requirements to represent Kenya in EALA," Wandayi said.
"She is the only nominee from the Maa community which has suffered untold marginalization under successive regimes since independence."
