The first time opposition lawmaker on Wednesday told Radio Maisha that he would not apologize over the act which has since kept him outside the assembly's precincts.

"That was a last resort because the speaker denied us the opportunity to ask the president pertinent issues affecting the country.

I therefore have no remorse whatsoever," he said.

During the March incident, Wandayi among other opposition MPs blew whistles in parliament forcing speaker Justin Muturi to order their ejection.
