A NASA MP will on Tuesday next week be grilled over hate speech remarks.
Homa Bay county women rep Gladys Wanga will be interrogated by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission.
Earlier the commission had issued an order to Wanga to report to NCIC offices to be grilled on Friday.
"Pursuant to the complaint made against you, the commission is investigating utterances alleged made by you. Take notice that you are hereby required to appear before the NCIC on October 6 at 10 am so as to assist the commission with the ongoing investigations. Failure to appear is an offence", NCIC said in a letter signed by NCIC CEO Hassan Mohamed.
The commission officials pushed to the interrogation to from Friday October 6 to next week Tuesday, October 10.
The MP's utterances were termed as derogatory and were made in one of the opposition's political campaigns ahead of the October 26 repeat of presidential polls.
She made the utterances linking president Uhuru Kenyatta and his DP William Ruto to the spread of cholera while making the speech on September 25.
