Kakamega Homeboyz playmaker Jeremiah Wanjala has been named the new Sports Journalist Association of Kenya(SJAK) Kenya Premier League best player for the month of September.Wanjala was on Tuesday feted by during the event held at the Mumias Sports Complex where he pocketed Ksh 100,000,a customized trophy and a 49' inch LG television set.The roving midfielder was very instrumental in the month of September netting twice and setting up two other goals to move his team to the mid table.His industry saw him beat his closest rivals,Gor Mahia's Meddie Kagere and Kariobangi Sharks dangerman Masoud Juma who polled second and third respectively in the SJAK initiative.He becomes the sixth player to bag the award after Brian Otieno (Nzoia) Stephen Waruru (Ulinzi),Ernest Wendo (Gor Mahia) Michael Madoya (Zoo Kericho) and George Odhiambo 'BlackBerry' (Gor Mahia) who were winners in the months of March,April, May,June and July respectively.
