Tottenham which is based in the capital of England, London, has beaten other two big London Clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal, to secure a place in the next UEFA Champions League trophy.

Tottenham secured a top-four finish in the Premier League for a third successive year, after Harry Kane's only goal against Rafael Benítez's Newcastle.

The crucial victory which saw Wanyama start the game, left Tottenham in third place, with 74 points after 37 games, 4 points clear from Chelsea 14 points from Arsenal. Wanyama was replaced by Danny Rose after having played 88 minutes.

The resluts mean they will be the leading club from the London capital for the first time since 1995.

The clubs head coach Mauricio Pochettino has said the club is going to compete for trophies after having been competitive for more than four years.

"The first step is always to be competitive, reduce the gap to the top four, which we started four years ago.

"Now after 23 years in the Premier League, this is the first time Tottenham is above the other London clubs.

"The next thing is to win a trophy, but you need to build. We are not at a club that wins a lot in the past few years, To create a winning mentality you must build its steps, then compete with the big sides," said the coach
