Wanyama, who is currently in the country after the closure of the English Premier League season said Nigeria and Senegal stand a chance in next year’s tournament.

He attributed this to the two teams’ strength and squad depth, which he says counts a lot.

Africa will have Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt as the other three representatives, in the eagerly-awaited tournament.

He was speaking on Wednesday when he got a lucrative deal with Multichoice, where he will be the brand ambassador during the tournament.

Egypt, led by Mohamed Salah, is expected to perform well if the Liverpool man can maintain the same form that he had in the just-concluded season.

Wanyama, on the other hand, is not sure where his future lies, with rumors going round indicating he might depart White Hart Lane.
