He is on the right path to full recovery, after an injury that kept him out for long. Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder and Kenya Captain Victor Wanyama continued with his road to full recovery, after starting for the first time since he returned from an injury.Wanyama’s team was however not able to master a win, and were lucky to have got a draw against Newport County in the FA Cup match played on Saturday.The Kenyan midfield powerhouse has been out recovering from an injury which he sustained last year. He featured for the full 90 minutes on Saturday, an indication that he was on the right path to full recovery.Wanyama has been influential since joining Spurs, and his return will be a timely boost for his club as they challenge on different fronts.The team is in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, a tournament that Wanyama has not played this season. During an interview with the Daily Mail, Wanyama revealed that having to sit out when his team played Real Madrid was the lowest moment of his career. Their focus now shifts to their midweek fixture, when they will play Manchester United in the English Premier League.
