The politicians led by Thika town MP Alice Ng’ang’a have vowed to campaign for Uhuru’s re-election across the country.

Speaking in Makongeni, Thika town where they had converged to drum up support for area MP Alice Ng'ang'a, the politicians lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government saying it has achieved much in terms of development.

They said that Uhuru’s development agenda in the last four years is commendable and that he deserves another term to spearhead more development.

The Jubilee politicians said that Uhuru’s re-election in 2017 is real rubbishing the opposition criticism of the government.

The politicians claimed that the opposition cannot offer alternative leadership to Kenyans.

“The opposition should prepare for a tough battle because we in Jubilee we are prepared to make sure that President Uhuru remains at State for another term,” said Ng’ang’a.

The women politicians further rubbished the opposition planned super alliance.

“We will not be scared by super alliance because our key agenda is to have President Kenyatta re-elected in 2017,” said Ruiru MP Esther Gathogo.

The women politicians urged women across the country to support Uhuru’s re-election in next year's polls.

They said that Uhuru’s administration has been able to champion for the rights and welfare of women.

At the same time, the politicians urged the National Assembly and the Senate to fast-track the two-third gender rule.

The politicians accused the two houses of lacking commitment to pass the two-thirds gender rule which provides for equal representation in public appointments.
