There are many things you go through during periods. Some believe their lives change a bit during this time, which is actually true. There is period cramps, mood swings, food craving and headaches. Skipping mealsFood craving during periods is a common thing among. However, some you lose appetite completely during this time. The cramps pains puts them down and they cannot eat or drink anything. Skipping meals when you are losing a lot of blood is not good. You should eat properly to give your body enough energy to keep yourself strong during this time.

Eating fast foodsIts understood food craving is very high at this time.  You tend to eat a lot of junky foods every time you come across them. Generally, junky foods are not good for your health. These foods will further upset your stomach causing you more pain.

Unprotected sexMost people have sex during periods. Some of you even have unprotected sex believing you cannot get pregnant at this time, which is actually true. Having an unprotected sex during periods exposes you to dangers of infections more than any other time. If you must have sex during periods, then it’s okay using protection.

Physical workCramps during periods affect you differently. However, even with these pains, some of you still do strenuous physical works. This will only bring you further pains and complications in your body. Always avoid these type of works until your stomach and pain pains stops.

Staying up all nightAn adult human being should have a good sleep of between 7-8 hours. However, staying awake during periods might cause serious problems to your health. Having a good sleep will help you not only ease the cramps pain but also experience the general health benefits in sleeping.
