The Transmara-based side has not picked an away point and the result leaves them with a single point after match day eight in Division one league.

Ace Peter Moriasi scored a quick hat trick within five minutes in the first half before David Makori converted James Maranga’s cross on the 51st minute.

Veteran Obed Manoah continued with his incredible outing with the Chiefs after a cool finish 10 minutes to stoppage time, a result which cemented Chiefs’ lead in the tier to the delight of Coach Charles Ombachi.

“It was an amazing fixture and boys did exactly what the technical bench needed them to do. It’s good to see a free scoring side and that’s what we need as a team,” he told the reporter.

“We must keep on fighting because it’s only our eighth game and we got many more to come. Having 19 points isn’t a bad deal but we can win more and get a promotion to National Super League,” he added as the team prepares to take on Nyamage FC.

Warrior’s coach Peter Ole Nkai slammed his players for an ‘unacceptable’ performance and challenged them to improve their defense.

“When your defense isn’t working, then it means midfield isn’t working. The defeat is unacceptable and my boys have to wake up. We have to win games if they want us to avoid relegation,” he added.
