Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali has distanced himself from speculations that he intends to join The National Super Alliance (NASA) before the August general polls.
According to Washiali, the claims are propaganda spread by the opposition with the aim of fighting him politically.
The Mp has affirmed that he is in Jubilee party to stay and does not regret over the same.
"I am firm in my decisions," he said as quoted by the Star.
"Once I have decided, I stand by my decision and there is no reverse. Reports that I support NASA are false. They are just rumours. I am comfortable in Jubilee."
He insisted that everyone around him understands his political stand hence rumours of defecting should not cause panic among his supporters.
"So, everyone is decamping? They have also claimed Eugene is defecting but do they know my stand? Some may be scared to defect but I’m not part of them,” Washiali added.
