According to the company Managing Director Reuben Korir, the company will be undertaking water rationing in order to serve more customers.

The Rift Valley Water Services Board (RVWSB) provides water in the rural parts of Nakuru County to an estimated population of 511,586.

It is however able to serve a population of 303,693 while the rest of the population is served by community based projects.

The company however operates five boreholes with a capacity of 252 cubic metres at Njoro Golf, Majangwa, Njoro Shell and Jawathu.

“I am just appealing to our consumers in Njoro area to pay their bills promptly because it is only last two weeks where Sh600,000 was paid to Kenya Power restore power at Majangwa borehole,” added Korir.

He also warned that the company will be carrying out a mass disconnection target non-paying customers.

Korir also pointed out that consultations between RVWSB are underway to ensure better water provision services in future.
