Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti has called on an urgent solution to the issues facing the education sector in the country.
Close to 100 schools in the country have reported fire incidents with property worth millions being destroyed.
Wavinya has asked the different stakeholders in the education sector that is parents, teachers, students and governments to quickly sit together and find a solution.
She emphasized the importance of education in a country and the role it plays in a country and said that we can't afford to sacrifice the future of our children because of issues that have been resolved.
Wavinya called on students to cease destroying property which has caused parents and guardians and the government money to build.
She was speaking in fundraiser at Kathiani yesterday.
