This comes a few weeks after former officials wrote a notice in the dailies warning the public against transacting any business with the current officials led by Wavinya Ndeti.

According to Sadja, the team led by Wavinya was confirmed by the National Governing council at the end of 2015.

The other officials which include Mwaur Abdallah (former chairman), Veronicah Mbithe (Former treasurer) and Titus Kaloki (Former Secretary General) stopped to hold office after the disciplinary committee of the party found them guilty of squandering Sh 2m belonging to the party.

They appealed at the political parties tribunal and they lost and went to high Court which temporarily issued orders stopping them from holding office at the party pending hearing and determination.
