Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has been advised to heed President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga's handshake and close ranks with Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Former Kangundo parliamentary aspirant Ancent Kituku said leaders from Machakos should come together for the county's development sake.
Kituku spoke to this writer on the phone on Monday.
He urged Ndeti to accept she lost against Governor Mutua in August 8, 2017 elections and train her eyes on 2022 gubernatorial race since the incumbent won't be vying for the seat again.
Kituku said Wavinya Ndeti's appeal is a waste of time and resources.
He told Ndeti to forget about the appeal and instead focus on branding her 2022 gubernatorial bid.
Kituku said Ndeti should take the chance to up her political game since Mutua won't contest for the position in the next polls.
"The competition won't be stiff like the past two elections, Ndeti should think twice about submitting her appeal since it may turn out to be double loss to her," Kituku said.
This is after Wavinya Ndeti swore not to pay Governor Mutua's costs as ordered by a Machakos High court promising to appeal over and over until she gets justice.
"I can't pay someone Sh10 million, he doesn't cultivate our farm," Wavinya had said during the Kamba Leaders Unity Meeting at Koma in Matungulu, Machakos County on April 2, 2018.
Ndeti is expected to submit her appeal at the Court of Appeal in Nairobi today.
