Ndeti made the calls two days after the governor donated iron sheets branded his 'Maendeleo Chap Chap' party name to locals in Yatta on Wednesday.

The former Machakos gubernatorial candidate said the branding including those done by Mutua on bodaboda sheds across the county is unethical hence amounts to a criminal offense.

Ndeti on Thursday posted on her Facebook page that she had engaged the EACC commission to look into the matter.

"Branding iron sheets and bodaboda sheds his party name and colors using public is against the code of ethics and a criminal offense. I have engaged the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission to investigate the matter," Ndeti posted.

She also called for Mutua's investigation on gross misconduct and mismanagement of public funds.

"I urge Machakos County Assembly, the Director of Public Prosecution, Ethics And Anti-Corruption Commission, the Auditor General, and the Council of Governors to move with speed to stop and investigate Alfred Mutua for gross misconduct and mismanagement of public funds," Ndeti said.

Ndeti accused the governor of initiating projects that do not benefit residents as a strategy of swindling public funds.
