The CCU party leader Wavinya Ndeti was on Thursday elected to be Vice Chair of the Centre of MultiParty Democracy.

Speaking yesterday after the elections by different representatives in Safari Park Hotel Nairobi, Wavinya urged the opposition parties to work together so as to fight for democracy. 

"I would like to thank the parties who have believed in me and chosen me so as to ensure in unity democracy is practised and free, fair elections are achieved as we head before our national elections,"said Ndeti.

 However, the former Kathiani Member of Parliament will be working under Omigo Magara who was chosen as the Chairman of the Centre of Multiparty Democracy group. 

The CMD group has members involving the main political parties in Kenya for instance TNA, ODM, Wiper, CCU, Narc Kenya, KANU among many other parties.
