Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has owned the claims posted on her social media pages that her life is in danger.
Ndeti confirmed she on April 9, 2018 posted on her personal Facebook and Twitter accounts that Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has been trailing her for sometime now.
She claims Mutua is out to assassinate her.
Ndeti who spoke to various reporters on the phone said it is true she wrote and posted the posts as they read on social media.
In her posts, the 2017 Machakos gubernatorial candidate who unsuccessfully contested against Mutua on a Wiper Party ticket alleges that the latter has been trailing her for reasons only known to himself
Ndeti gave accounts on a series of attacks that allegedly happened to people close to her, incidences she says are neither accidental nor normal.
"My dad was shot just 2 days before I launched my gubernatorial bid in 2013. The day I served Mutua with court papers for my petition in 2013, my neighbor's Range Rover which was similar to mine was shot at entering our gate. In early 2017, my opponent opened his Maendeleo Chap Chap Party offices 100m from my home in an attempt to intimidate me," reads her post in part.
Ndeti claims the governor was seen driving slowly by her gate in a white VX Land Cruiser car tailed by a Grey Subaru on April 9, 2018 at around 4.00pm.
She says it was not the first time for Mutua to be seen around her home.
Ndeti claims one of her workers recently confessed he had been offered Sh3 million by persons known to him to relay information regarding her movements.
She says she had reported the matter at a police station.
"I have reported the matter to the police, if anything happens to me hold him responsible," Ndeti said.
Ndeti said she will appeal Mutua's win on April 16th next week.
