In a statement on Tuesday, Ndeti claimed that Governor Mutua has altered number plates of county vehicles to facilitate his campaigns.
Ndeti now wants the Independent Electoral and Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the police to take action against Mutua.
Ndeti said that it is illegal for political aspirants to use public resources to campaign.
She said that Mutua is afraid of losing the August 8 poll and is using every tool at his disposal to win re-election.
‘‘I have written to the IEBC and the EACC on the matter and I expect them to move swiftly and take action,’’ she said as quoted by the People Daily.
Ndeti also asked the IEBC and EACC to investigate Governor Mutua source of money being used to fund his Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) Party.
Ndeti claimed that Mutua could be using taxpayer’s money to run his party affairs.
She said that the governor’s financial background cannot allow him to manage a party.
‘‘We want Mutua to tell us where he is getting the money to run his campaigns under his MCC party,’’ she added.

Ndeti and Mutua have been engaging in public jibes with former Kathiani MP accusing Mutua of using cheap propaganda and publicity to deceive locals.
Mutua, on the other hand, accuses Ndeti of envy, claiming that the former Kathiani MP has no political experience and knowledge to run county affairs.
