The Ford Kenya leader said Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and himself will pitch tents in different parts of Machakos County to ensure she becomes the next governor.

Addressing the press on Saturday,  Wetangula said he believes that Ndeti won the last general election following the court ruling.

He said it is unfortunate that the law does not provide for Ndeti to be declared the August 8, 2017 elections victor despite the Court of Appeal's ruling.

“I know as a fact our candidate Wavinya Ndeti won those elections and the court has said Mutua didn’t win. The flip side is that if Mutua didn’t win there is somebody else who won and that someone else is Wavinya Ndeti,” Wetangula said.

He added: “Unfortunately the law doesn’t provide for the court to pronounce the winner.  We have to go back to the people for a by-election and I can assure you, yours truly Moses Wetangula, my brother Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi will camp in Machakos,” Wetangula concluded.

Wetangula urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to step up his fight against corruption in the country.

He told the President to go for the big fish instead of the small ones.
