Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has said that the National Super Alliance (NASA) will proceed with the plans to swear in Former Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka if the Jubilee government does not pave way for dialogue.
She argued that the Kamba nation has backed the past two Presidents in their quest to ascend to power, adding that time has come for the community to stand with one of their own- Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka- until his Presidential dream becomes a reality.
“As Kamba people we have contributed greatly to this country. It’s a Kamba who helped (President Daniel) Moi. We also helped Kibaki. Now we are asking Uhuru for dialogue but he is not interested. We will move on with our plans,” she said.
The former Gubernatorial aspirant for Machakos and other leaders including Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana have maintained that Kalonzo is still in the best position to become the next President.
The leaders have been calling upon President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to pave way for dialogue in order to rectify the mess created following the disputed August and October elections.
