Speaking on Radio Citizen on Thursday morning, Ndeti who recently successfully appealed against Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's August 8, 2017 re-election, expressed confidence that the ruling will culminate into a by-election.

Coming at a time when Mutua has vowed to challenge the decision at the Supreme Court, Ndeti who has since alleged that she was wrongly denied her victory in the race said that she will again defeat the county chief.

She, however, promised to concede should the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader win in a fair contest.

"I will still vie on a Wiper ticket should we end up at the ballot again," Ndeti said.

"I have nothing personal against Mutua. He should prepare to face me again and if he defeats me I will accept the outcome. Similarly, he must also accept defeat in the event that I emerge the victor," Ndeti added.

Mutua has since rubbished the ruling, terming it unjust.

Speaking to the press immediately after the ruling, the young leader who won in an earlier similar encounter at the High Court said the case was badly handled.
